The Next New Thing?

HR Reporter recently ran an article  about companies offering Unlimited Paid Vacation time.  The article talks about it as  a recruiting and retention tool, a potential tool for helping keep salary and bonus costs down and  reducing the administrative costs associated with managing various forms of time off.  It also indicates this type of policy won’t work in all environments.   HR Reporter subscribers can read the article in the November 15 issues on-line or in hardcopy.    For my thoughts on the organizational and individual attributes necessary for successful implementation go to my articles page.
